This morning (Sept. 9) People’s Committee of Phu Yen province and Vung Ro Petroleum Company Ltd. (the Investor) held the ground breaking ceremony for Vung Ro Refining and Petrochemical Project. At the invitation of the provincial leadership and the Investor , Chairman cum Director of Petrolimex Khanh Hoa Le Tien Duan and Chairman of Board of Management of Petrolimex Petrochemical Corporation (PLC) Pham Ba Nhuan attended the ceremony and congratulated Phu Yen province and Vung Ro Petroleum Company Ltd.

Vung Ro refining and petrochemical plant has a capacity of 8 million tons per year, situated in Ha Tam village, Dong Hoa district, Phu Yen province, lying in Hoa Tam industrial area of South Phu Yen Economic Zone. This project is an energy security one in line of projects of highly prioritized investment.

As a member of Vietnam National Petroleum Group (Petrolimex Group), Petrolimex Khanh Hoa and Petrolimex Petrochemicals Corporation (PLC) always pursuit major orientation of the Group and encourage their officers and workers to fulfill the entrusted tasks and targets, creating conditions for positive cooperation and successful integration, practically contributing to development of Petrolimex, the localities (Khanh Hoa, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan) and the building of the country.
